About
Women Embracing Transition, Inc., a Minnesota 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, was incorporated in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2016 by Colnette Skinner. It was formed exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes. The organization is currently based in Crystal, Minnesota.
At Women Embracing Transition, Inc., we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver professional and compassionate services at the right time. Presently, we are helping to curb social isolation among senior citizens by hosting monthly events at various Assisted Living facilities and senior buildings. Women can embrace change through connection with other women.

We are motivated by a strong sense of personal achievement, honesty, and integrity.
Our vision is to become a resource center to serve and assist in improving the quality of life and well being of women 40 years old or older from all walks of life who are facing major challenges through therapy, support groups, life coaching/skills.

Sending annual Holiday Care Packages to military service members who are deployed during the holidays is our signature event. We begin soliciting for donations-monetary and products in September for a December 1st mailing.

Women Embracing has no paid employees and no monthly income. We are ALL unpaid volunteers, and rely solely on membership dues and donations to fund our programs.

Please come alongside us and help a woman embrace where she is on the challenging journey of life and transition well... One woman at a time!

Strong women need strong support from each other.
